1. First, set an appointment by scheduling online, by phone at (703) 729-1123 or email us.
  2. Once your appointment is confirmed, we will text you medical consent and history forms to return prior to your appointment.
  3. Because of COVID-19, your first appointment will be virtual via telephone with your trained client advocate and nurse. This will give you a chance to share you story – we want to understand your needs and what kind of support we could provide. You can talk through your situation with both the nurse and advocate, and all conversations are private and confidential. You will also have the chance to ask our nurse any questions you may have.
  4. The nurse will evaluate you and then schedule you to come in for your pregnancy testing and/or ultrasound at the end of your virtual appointment.
  5. Bring photo identification when you come to your appointment. This will make sure your privacy is protected so that only you can access your medical records. Plan on spending about 1 hour at your appointment.
  6. When you arrive, we will take your temperature prior to entering the office and you will be greeted by our friendly receptionist. All information shared and discussions while at Mosaic are private and confidential.
  7. A registered nurse will test your urine specimen for the pregnancy assessment, and review your medical information.
  8. The nurse will give you the test results and is prepared to answer any additional medically-related questions you may have.  If your test is positive, it may be appropriate to perform or schedule an ultrasound.
  9. Your will be given any information you request including community referrals. Your nurse may propose another appointment with us. We are here to answer any questions you have. You will make your own decision plan.
  10. When you leave, you will be asked to complete a short evaluation of your visit. Your opinion is important to us.

You are welcome to contact us for more information if we can be of more help to you.
