Is the Abortion Pill Reversible?
If you’ve recently taken the Abortion Pill (mifepristone/RU-486) and you have regrets about your decision, it may not be too late for an abortion pill reversal. Recent studies show some success with reversing the effects of the Abortion Pill by using the treatment of progesterone; however, only if it’s done within 24-48 hours of taking the first pill.
Because the process is not as simple as taking a pill over the counter, you must call the Abortion Pill Hotline at 1-877-558-0333, within 24 hours for treatment, so that you are able to see a physician within 72 hours for an appointment.
Once calling, you will be referred to a Nurse that will further assess your situation and viability for the reversal. You will then be contacted by a physician, or given information of a physician that can perform the reversal for you. Depending on the area in which you live, there may be a small fee for the reversal. Often, donors help cover this cost.
Abortion Pill Reversal (APR) is a program of Culture of Life Family Services headquartered in San Diego CA, consisting of over 300 physicians worldwide that are available to assist women in Abortion Pill Reversal.
